NOROCK bases are beautiful and they work well.

[ WELCOME TO THE NOROCK STORY ]
We promise you a future without wobbly tables!
NOROCK began with a common scenario: a wobbly table at a restaurant. While many would resort to a folded napkin to solve the issue temporarily, for Chris Heyring and his son Toby Heyring, it sparked a vision. With over 35 years of experience in stabilising technology, Chris’s expertise laid the groundwork for what would become NOROCK self-stabilising table bases. Our table bases are based on a hyperbolic paraboloid design, with DNA to Chris’ patented hydraulic car suspension system, Kinetic, used in Toyota, Nissan, and McLaren cars worldwide.
Raised in an environment where curiosity and innovation were encouraged, Toby inherited his parents’ creative spirit. From crafting model boats and cars as a child to now spearheading the expansion of NOROCK’s product range as an adult, Toby’s dedication to refinement mirrors the company’s ethos of continuous improvement. Collaborating with CEO Claire Spalding, NOROCK has evolved from a technical endeavour to a globally recognised brand, revolutionising stability in hospitality and office settings worldwide.
A year of innovation
and design
2023 was a year marked with the unveiling of several innovative products, including our first collaboration with an external designer. Launched at Milan Design Week, NRxTMH seamlessly integrates renowned interior design studio Tom Mark Henry’s concept with our award-winning self-stabilising technology. We also introduced Sol 17, our first cone-shaped self-stabilising disc base, which not only maximises space with its compact design but also adds an element of sophistication to any environment. Due to its popularity, this year we’ve already expanded the Sol family to include Sol 21. Our Parkway and Trail families expanded to include a 22×30 table base, perfect for booth seating and rectangular or oval tabletops.
As we turn the page on a transformative year, we look forward to forging new partnerships, unveiling exciting products, and making meaningful contributions to shaping spaces with stability, style, and ingenuity. Here’s to a year filled with creativity, growth, and success for all. Welcome to the NOROCK journey in 2024!

TMH
Designed in collaboration with Tom Mark Henry, the limited-release NRxTMH table base celebrates the origins of our self-stabilising table bases, the West Australian coastline. Inspired by the undulating formations, organic textures and timeless colours of our varying coastal landscape to create a uniquely West Australian aesthetic.
Next generation self-stabilising technology
NOROCK tables use a simple mechanical system with four pivoting legs that are interconnected in such a way that they must reach an average weight loading on all four feet. When a table is placed on an uneven surface, the feet will move until all four feet reach a state of equilibrium or more simply, a state of stability.
