Genesin Studio, one of Australia’s leading design practices, have created a futurist-leaning space incorporating our NOROCK Lunar self-stabilising disc bases. Our table bases seamlessly blend with the overall design, elevating not only the functionality but also the visual appeal of the bar, both inside and out. This isn’t Genesin Studio’s first project with NOROCKs, our Parkway self-stabilising table bases feature in their iTL Kitchen design over at Sky City, both were supplied by NOROCK partner Estilo Furniture + Lighting.
The man behind the magic menu at Dolly is Sam Worrall-Thompson, a chef known for creating unique and unforgettable dining experiences. The menu curated collaboratively with the savvy teams from Bar Lune and Fettle, includes craft cocktails and an expertly selected wine list. Watch Dolly become well-known as the bar with great food, ranging from the Dolly bird katsu sando to their mango and coconut sorbet slice, everything is considered.

The accolades keep pouring in for Dolly, as it has already been longlisted for the 2023 Dezeen Awards for Restaurant and Bar Interior of the Year and won the prestigious 2023 Eat Drink Design Awards for Best Bar Design. Genesin Studio said “Our design brief was to create a unique and timeless wine bar for the residents of Unley. The combination of the existing cold-shell and design brief gave us a futurist approach to the project, creating a new playground for Adelaide punters.”
