Announcing NRxTMH self-stabilizing table base as a finalist in the 20th Annual Hospitality Design Awards!

We are thrilled to share some exciting news: out of nearly 375 submissions, our NRxTMH self-stabilizing table base has been named a finalist in the Casegoods + Furniture category for the 20th annual Hospitality Design Awards.

This prestigious recognition, presented by Hospitality Design magazine, celebrates excellence in projects and products, spotlighting the creative teams behind them. The HD Awards are a pinnacle in the industry, highlighting the best of the best. The 2024 jury-selected winners will be revealed on April 30th at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas during the HD Expo + Conference (we’ll be there!). All winners and finalists will also be prominently featured in the magazine’s May/June issue, and keep an eye out on HD’s social media, too.

Our NRxTMH table base is a collaboration between NOROCK, an award-winning product designer, and acclaimed interior design studio, Tom Mark Henry. Powered by NOROCK’s patented mechanical self-stabilizing technology, this table base ensures unwavering stability on any surface. Gone are the days of worrying about uneven floors, as this technology liberates interior designers with the freedom to choose and arrange furniture without constraints.

Drawing inspiration from the captivating southwest Australian coastline, this model features an irregular extruded column design reminiscent of the undulating landscape. The rugged terrain, earthy tones, and the collision of land with the ocean have all influenced a range that truly embodies the region.

Available in coffee, lounge, dining, counter, and bar heights, with sizes of 17″ and 21″, and a color palette capturing the coast in four distinct shades, this disc base offers a solution to cater to diverse preferences and design requirements. The stability is achieved through four interlinked pivoting legs, designed to evenly distribute weight across all points. When placed on an uneven surface, these legs adjust themselves until perfect balance is achieved.

What truly sets our NRxTMH self-stabilizing table base apart is its functionality and durability. Backed by a 5-year warranty on the mechanism, this innovative solution stands the test of time, requiring no maintenance or replacement parts. This ensures a hassle-free experience while providing significant time and cost savings for operators in various venues such as restaurants, hotels, bars, workspaces, and cafes.

Not only does this table base enhance the visual appeal of any space with its captivating design inspired by nature, but it also ensures a comfortable and distraction-free dining experience for customers. This collaboration between NOROCK and Tom Mark Henry fills a market gap for well-designed tables without wobbling issues, making it an outstanding addition to any setting seeking elevated design without compromise.

The judges for the 20th annual Hospitality Design Awards bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table (get it?!). This year’s panel includes Alan Benjamin of Benjamin West, known for his wealth of knowledge on hospitality furniture; Heather Ciszczon of NuovoRE, bringing a fresh perspective from her innovative work in the field; Alda Ly of ALA Studio, recognized for her thoughtful and impactful interior designs; and Ellen Villars of MGM Resorts International, a leader in creating memorable guest experiences. Their diverse backgrounds and commitment to excellence ensure a thorough and fair evaluation process for all submissions, making this recognition even more significant for NOROCK’s NRxTMH self-stabilizing table base.
