NOROCK x TMH x The Local Project
Meet our NRxTMH self-stabilising table base, as showcased by The Local Project.
A collaboration between NOROCK, an award-winning product, and Tom Mark Henry, an award-winning design studio – the NRxTMH exemplifies both form and function, while celebrating the breathtaking West Australian coastline.
Inspired by the rugged rock formations, undulating sand dunes, and vibrant coastal flora of Western Australia, our NRxTMH table base has a sculptural silhouette and timeless colour palette. NOROCK’s partnership with Tom Mark Henry explores the raw beauty and organic textures of the landscape, elevating functional design to an art form which increases the beauty of your space. Our next-generation self-stabilising technology is constantly working to find the perfect equilibrium, put simply — you’ll never have to worry about a wobbly table again.

Bobby’s, in Cronulla, Sydney, is a new seafood restaurant which was designed by Tom Mark Henry. This incredible space is the embodiment of coastal holiday vibes, and our specified collaborative bases serve as both functional elements and aesthetic statements. Tom Mark Henry specified the NRxTMH in dining height Jarrah Brown and our bar height Leeuwin Blue, which operate flawlessly on Bobby’s Travertine paver flooring.
The concept of Bobby’s is in the pursuit of fun and having a good time, and that’s what we resonated with when it came to specifying the NOROCK bases for this venue. They are beautiful, they work well, they seamlessly fit into the concept with the colours that they come in, the venue is by the coast and the colours are inspired by the West Australian coastline so we thought it was a nice fit to then specify them to sit by the water.
We are so proud to see NOROCK’s self-stabilising table bases in issue no. 13 of The Local Project, a publication we have long admired for its commitment to showcasing exceptional design and innovation. Our collaboration with Tom Mark Henry has proven popular with design enthusiasts and professionals worldwide since its launch at Milan Design Week 2023. As our collaborative bases continue to gain traction in projects spanning from Australia to America and Europe, we are excited to see where it lands next.
