NOROCK Australia: The Launch Lunch

While NOROCK has been around since 2012, we only recently launched direct to the Australian market, landing stock in Sydney in 2021. We decided we needed to celebrate this, and better late than never, right?

We had very specific criteria for the Launch Lunch: the venue must have no less than three different NOROCK tables (look, we’re very particular). So, it was a no-brainer to launch NOROCK at North Sydney’s well-designed RAFI.

Our guest list included some of the best people from the Australian design and media worlds. Our Sales & Marketing Director, Claire Spalding enjoyed getting to know everyone while trying out one of RAFI’s signature cocktails. Of course, Claire also jumped at the chance to introduce the distinguished guests to our next-generation self-stabilising technology. Our patented table bases embody our love for both form and function proving there’s absolutely no need to settle with a table base’s appearance or performance. Whenever we present NOROCK, people are always wowed by how simple and elegant a solution our tables are to the wobbly table problem and our guests’ reactions here were no different.

We’re looking forward to seeing NOROCK pop up in more and more of our favourite venues across Australia, from our bestselling bases last year through to all the new styles we have coming out this year (stay tuned!).

Hospitality is a tough environment for furniture. The demands of high use for multiple users each day, together with the requirement to be moved around often by staff and patrons at a whim place major pressure on the standard of products. To have a piece of furniture stand up to the test is reassuring. Furthermore, for the product to deliver consistency in providing a solid flat surface across different surfaces makes for an easy choice.
