We are thrilled to announce that several remarkable hospitality projects featuring NOROCK self-stabilising table bases have been nominated for the 2024 Eat Drink Design Awards.
The Eat Drink Design Awards serve as a prestigious platform for celebrating the best in hospitality design across Australia and New Zealand. We are stoked to see such talented designers and architects acknowledged for their creativity and vision in creating exceptional bar and restaurant environments. Being a supporting partner of the awards back in 2022, we have been excited to see how the nominees continue to elevate and evolve with each passing year.
Best Bar Design
The Best Bar Design category recognises excellence in the design of bars, cocktail lounges, and nightclubs. This year’s nominees showcase a diverse range of concepts, each with its own unique style and character. Those that feature NOROCK include:
- Busselton Pavilion by MJA Studio – This venue shines with its innovative use of space and modern design. MJA Studio has crafted a vibrant and inviting atmosphere, specifying our NOROCK Trail and Trail 22×30 table bases.
- Earlwood Hotel by Five Foot One Design – Five Foot One Design has transformed this classic hotel into a colourful and engaging space. Our NOROCK Terrace self-stabilising (and flip-top! and nesting!) table bases are keeping drinks steady outside.
- Latteria by studio gram – Latteria is an incredibly stylish bar created by studio gram — which leans into it’s style all the more with the inclusion of our collaborative self-stabilising table base, the NRxTMH in Pindan Red colourway. The thoughtful design reflects studio gram’s dedication to blending aesthetics with practicality, ensuring a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
- The Beach Hotel by EJE – EJE has created an impressive beachfront venue where our NOROCK Terrace self-stabilising bases, in both our metallic silver and sandstone black colourways, are thoughtfully integrated to complement the surrounding spaces. Our bases achieve a perfect balance of form and function, enhancing the design while providing stability.
Best Restaurant Design
The Best Restaurant Design category celebrates exceptional restaurant interiors, recognising the creativity and attention to detail that define memorable dining experiences. This year, we are excited to see the following nominee:
- Gibney by Rezen Studio – Rezen Studio has crafted an elegant dining experience overlooking the iconic Cottesloe beach. The integration of our NOROCK Lunar and NRxTMH self-stabilising disc bases into the restaurant’s design highlights Rezen Studio’s commitment to creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional, offering guests a refined and comfortable environment.
Award-winning spaces deserve award-winning table bases

We would be remiss not to mention our incredible Australian NOROCK partners who supply these incredible spaces with our bases and work tirelessly to ensure the happiness of both designers and venue operators alike. Thank you!

NOROCK was the clear choice for Busselton Pavilion to pair with our custom designed tabletops created by Ergoline. The discreet, reliable, easy to clean bases provided a great range of flexibility and low-maintenance for the venue’s team while looking great.
