It was so good to get back on the road again! From seeing our reps face-to-face again to attending tradeshows, and even crossing international oceans to be reunited — 2022 was a fun year for NOROCK USA.
Our VP Sales Americas Martin Bolick loves nothing more than the open road and connecting with others face-to-face, so 2022 was a return to more normal business. Not only that but flying in from Australia to get their Austin BBQ fix (kidding, they definitely went to catch up with Martin and have a series of meetings across the country) were our Technical Director Toby Heyring and Sales & Marketing Director Claire Spalding.
We attended Restaurant Point West in Seattle and BDNY in New York, and we just loved introducing you all to our self-stabilizing table bases offline again. There’s nothing so satisfying as a real-time demonstration.
Our sales in the US were up 80% in October 2022 versus October 2021, it’s good to have seen America bounce back from a couple of tough years, and see people out and about smiling and enjoying themselves again. It’s been fun to look back on this year’s bestselling table bases with a special mention to our Lunar self-stabilizing disc base, coming in at number four, it’s been our fastest-growing base since its launch in 2021. 2023 will see even more additions to our curated product range with new sizes, designs and colors being released. Watch this space!

03. Terrace 27:
Outdoor dining continued to have its moment in 2022 and proving to be our most popular outdoor dining table base, our Terrace, remained in the top 3. As well as being self-stabilizing (like all our bases) Terrace also stacks and nests — perfect for storing and quick set up/pack away.

In 2022 America has continued its love affair with our hardworking Trail self-stabilizing table, with our Trail 30 coming in at number 2. Did you know our x-base comes in four sizes in both bar and dining heights, and we even have a twin base? This kind of versatility has seen it become a firm favourite for a variety of industries, from hospitality to medical facilities, and aged care to universities.
